PROSTATE GLAND #44
The
prostate is a walnut-sized gland at the base of the bladder that encircles the
urethra, the tube through which urine is voided. The prostate produces prostatic fluid, which makes up
the bulk of the male ejaculate and nourishes and transports the sperm.
The
prostate gland is of major concern to every man, especially those over the age
of forty-nine.
With
each passing decade the prostate becomes susceptible to physiological changes
that can lead to discomfort and inconvenience.
It is reported that approximately 75% of men over the age of sixty
experience some functional prostate difficulties.
The testosterone derivatives, particularly dihydrotestosterone (DHT),
appear to be responsible for the undesirable age-related changes in prostate
function.
Cancer
of the prostate is the second leading cause of death among men.
It is primarily accepted as a disease of aging.
Men in their thirties and forties rarely develop prostate cancer, (but
this is the time these men should consider preventative treatment).
Development increases steadily after the age of fifty-five, 80% of all
cases involve men over the age of sixty-five.
By the age of eighty, 80% of all men have prostate cancer to some degree;
experts feel that every man will eventually develop prostate cancer, if he lives
long enough.
Enough negativity,
now a Healthy Solution! Like all
organ, the glands need nutritional support, especially when under stress, this
depletes the body's stores of nutrients. Glandular
therapy, the use of concentrated forms of various raw animal glands,
is an effective means of improving the health of specific glands, such as
the prostate.
In the 1930s, Dr.
Royal Lee, a pioneering biochemical researcher, began his own work with
glandulars, and developed an effective explanation that has been supported by
more recent research. Dr. Lee
hypothesized that the organs were malfunctioning not because of missing
nutrients, (previously believed), but because the body was attacking its own
organs. This attack, which can be
compared to the immune system's attack of a transplanted organ, although milder
in nature, impairs organ function, causing chronic health problems.
Glandulars, said Lee, neutralize such attacks, allowing the organs to
heal themselves. The body once
brought into the correct environment can heal any known disease!
Your Choice
glandulars, are from young organically raised free-range bovines that have not
received hormones or steroids, and feed on chemically untreated grasslands in
New Zealand.
Additional support for the prostate gland is: thymus gland, L-Glutathione, Zinc picolinate, saw palmetto and pygeum.
